Brinsley Colliery: Restoring a cultural asset
Work began in October 2024 on the revamping of the Brinsley headstocks site which will eventually include the restoration of the wooden tandem headstocks.
Brinsley Colliery tandem headstocks demolished
Because of safety concerns, the iconic Brinsley Colliery wooden tandem headstocks were demolished w/c 11th December 2023.
