The South Derbyshire Mining Preservation Group host the next meeting of the East Midlands Coalmining Heritage Form on Saturday, 14th October 2023 (10am – 1pm) at Conkers Discovery Centre.
Songs and Rhymes from the Mines – Pleasley Pit
Pleasley Pit volunteers and friends presented an evening of coalmining folk songs and pit poetry on Friday evening, 29th September 2023 as part of the 150th commemorations of the sinking of the pit.
