Proposed complete revision of NUM National Rules at the 1985 NUM National Conference.
NUM Proposed National Rules Amendment
In April 1985 a proposal for a complete revision of the NUM National Rules at the 1985 NUM National Conference was made by the NUM NEC. The action eventually led to members of the Nottingham Area of the NUM being balloted (in May 1985) on the question of the future of the Nottingham Area in the event of the proposed National rule changes being opposed by the Nottingham Area, but accepted nationally.
