Mine-craft the Prequel: Talks and Photo Workshop Events

The 2023-24 Nottingham Trent University funded coalmining heritage project, ‘Mine-craft the Prequel: The Photographic Story of East Midlands Coal’ is running several community photo workshop events during February, March and April 2024.

Each case study event will feature an introduction to the project, a short illustrated talk about the history of the colliery concerned and then a photo workshop. The aim of the latter is to add information to the iconic collection of Coal Authority photographs and use them as a means of storytelling.

All events are free and everyone is welcome.
