‘Coal in the Blood: Longwall, Lawrence and Literary Legacies’, an Eastwood and DH Lawrence themed on-line talk of readings from the recently published book, ‘Coal in the Blood: An East Midlands Coalmining Anthology’. 

About the Event:

An on-line Zoom talk to the DH Lawrence Society by former miner and now coal mining historian, David Amos.  The talk consists of Eastwood themed readings from the recently published ‘Coal in the Blood: An East Midlands Coal Mining Anthology’, edited by Natalie Braber and David Amos and published by Trent Editions.

Copies of the book (RRP £10) can be obtained from the DH Lawrence Birthplace Museum at Eastwood, the Erewash Museum at Ilkeston, Sutton Living Memory Group heritage shop at the Idlewells Centre, Sutton-in-Ashfield, the Bookcase, Lowdham and the Kirkby Heritage Centre, Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
