Coal in the Blood: An East Midlands Coal Mining Anthology: Book Release. 

About the Event: Book release of ‘Coal in the Blood: An East Midlands Coal Mining Anthology’, co-edited by Natalie Braber and David Amos, published by Trent Editions. The event includes live music of mining songs from members of Borderland Folk, Lawrence County, Terry Faulkner and The King of Rome, plus readings from author poets .

A full evening of entertainment with a pie and pea supper or vegetarian alternative for £8 per head at the Pit Micro Pub, Newstead Village, Nottinghamshire. Hosted by Co Authors, Natalie Braber (Nottingham Trent University) and David Amos (Mine2Minds Education). Signed copies of the book can be purchased at the event at £10 per copy.

Venue: The Pit Micro Pub, Tilford Road, Newstead Village, Nottinghamshire, NG15 0BU.

 

Date: Tuesday, 23rd November 2021 starting at 7.30pm.

Public Transport: The Pit Micro Pub is a short distance from Newstead Station on the Robin Hood Line between Nottingham and Mansfield. Trains services are run by East Midlands Railways. Not all Robin Hood Line services stop at Newstead Station, so please check if travelling by train.  Newstead Village is served by Trent Barton buses, 3A service.
